In The NewsMore than a thousand Rio Rancho students will attend a new school next year. That?s because eighth graders are being moved out of Rio Rancho Mid-High and into one of the Rio Rancho Public School District?s four middle schools. | Sandoval County Commiss-ioner Jack Thomas, candidate for House District 60, is hosting three ?Meet & Greets? for residents throughout his district. Meetings are open to the public. Thomas will be discussing his priorities and will take questions from those in attendance. | Parents and community members are invited to attend public forums to provide input concerning nine Rio Rancho schools that, based on the state?s public school ratings system, have been designated as ?schools in need of improvement.? | Once again, the Rio Rancho Blue Star Mothers are reaching out to Rio Rancho and surrounding communities for help.
